We all love to enhance our lashes. For some of us it’s an everyday must, (or addiction!) Sometimes we just want an extra boost for a holiday, wedding or a night out. So what options do we have? Have a read below…
- Lash tint – this will simply darken your natural lashes and we recommend every 4 weeks to keep up the colour.
- Lash Lift – this treatment will lift and set your lashes to reveal your natural length. It also tints them and makes them appear thicker and longer without anything added. This is very popular and with no maintenance, we recommend every 6-8 weeks depending on your lash growth. A lash tint after 3-4 weeks will top up the colour.
- Lash extensions – applied individually, these really are amazing!! We have been doing these for many years and recently went to Lash Perfect to hear about their latest product launches and techniques. We can create very natural or full on glamour using a range of hybrid lashes to ensure you get the look that is perfect for you. We recommend coming every 2-3 weeks for maintenance.
Our at-home favourite…
Say goodbye to sticky eyelids and flappy strip lashes and hello to Magnetic Lashes! Perfect for day-to-day wear or to add drama when you’re going out, these amazing lashes sandwich your natural lashes and are on and off in a second! These have been SO popular with our lovely clients and as busy therapists we rarely have time to be on the couch ourselves so we LOVE having these on hand to pop on and feel client ready! How do the magnets work? How do you get them on? Have a read below and find out how to get luscious lashes in seconds…
Step 1: Apply Mascara
Pop on some mascara before to give your lashes texture and help the magnets to grip to your lashes.
Step 2: Bend the Lash
The lashes have a flexible band that enables them to sit on your unique lash line.
Step 3: Apply the Upper Lash
The magnetic lashes come with 2 strips of lashes per eye – one to rest on top of natural lashes, and one to bring up under the natural lashes. Take the first lash (the one without the red dots) and place it directly on top of natural lashes, as close as you can possibly get it to the lash line. Keep this lash in place whilst you grab the other lash
Step 4: Apply the Lower Lash
With the first Magnetic lash balanced in place on top of the lashes, align the second lash (the one with the red dots on the magnets) directly underneath your top eyelashes, allowing the magnets to snap the two rows together. Adjust a little with your fingers if the lashes feel out of place, and…..
TA-DAH!!!!!! Gorgeous eyes! (OK it might take a few go’s to get the hang of it but honestly – once you know, you know!!)
